A. The professor had been speaking at the front of the room for the first half an hour of the three hour class about the various affects of medication. Psychology. The study of the human mind. The slide changed to a picture of a young girl that had attended the lectures of the elder man every day, though no one had paid her much mind, until now.
The young girl blushed, turning a lovely scarlet color, as the 304 attending students turned to look in her direction. She could feel them judging her and, with the professor silent, she could feel them guessing about her.
"Sarah, darling, please come to the front of the class." It was a secret they shared, the pair of them. Father and daughter, both professors though only one of they taught openly. She stood and walked to the front of the class. "Class, please tell me why her photograph is on the screen." The strong deep voice of her father rang out through the auditorium clearly.
They were soon deafened by the new group of students, desperately hollering answers at the teachers. The diagnoses ranged from the mildest of psychological afflictions to the most terrible. The chaos ensued for a few minutes but as the teachers smiles grew, the class became quieter. Soon they were all enveloped in complete silence.
Sarah walked to the front of the class, smiled and in a clear voice addressed her students. "Good morning class, My name is Professor Sarah James Accedian. Lesson on in Diagnostic Psychology, Never make a decision without as much information as possible. These are people's lives ladies and gentlemen. Not your play things. According to this class, I have every psychological affliction possible and need to be either killed due to my endangerment to every living thing or institutionalized permanently."
She quietly walked back to her seat and winked at her father, the class didn't speak out during the lessons for the rest of the year. Instead they were listening, learning, and becoming good Psychiatrists.
